The Mud Kitchen allows children to get messy while exploring textures, smells, and imaginative play, enhancing sensory skills. The Pirate Ship Climbing Frame encourages active play, helping children develop strength, coordination, and teamwork as they embark on imaginative adventures. In the Construction Area, kids can design and build their own creations, fostering problem-solving skills and teamwork.
Our Art and Craft Zone provides an opportunity for children to express themselves through painting, drawing, and crafting, nurturing creativity and fine motor skills. The bike area promotes physical activity, balance, and coordination, while our planting areas teach responsibility, patience, and the joys of growing their own flowers and vegetables.

We’re also deeply committed to our community, actively engaging with it through activities like visiting the local care home. These visits provide children with valuable opportunities to connect with older generations, fostering empathy, respect, and a sense of belonging.
Through our mascot, Simoa, children also learn important safety lessons from road safety to understanding their surroundings. Simoa makes safety fun while teaching kids how to explore confidently and responsibly, both in our garden and out in the community. At ABC Day Nursery, the Play on Pedals experience introduces young children to the joy of bike riding. Led by our two certified staff instructors, we help children learn essential skills like balancing, pedalling, and steering in a fun, supportive environment. Learning to ride bikes offers numerous benefits, including improved coordination, balance, and physical fitness. It also boosts self-confidence, fosters independence, and encourages social interaction.
